Introducing Dashboard Designer: The Latest Addition to Tagger

At TeamOppy, we're excited to announce the launch of the Dashboard Designer, the newest addition to our sports app Tagger. Dashboard Designer is a powerful tool that allows analysts to create custom dashboards using a grid layout made up of rows and columns, with a range of customizable components, including charts, graphs, position maps, tables and more.

With Dashboard Designer, users can easily customize their dashboard to fit their specific needs and preferences. This means that they can focus on the metrics that matter most to them and gain valuable insights into their performance.

Key Features

Here are just a few of the key features of Dashboard Designer:

Customizable Components: Dashboard Designer offers a range of customizable components, including charts, graphs, position maps, tables and more, that can be added to the dashboard grid layout using rows and columns. Users can easily adjust the size and position of the components, and edit their settings.
User-Friendly Interface: Dashboard Designer has a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for users to create and customize their dashboards. Users can quickly add new components, adjust their settings, and arrange them within the grid layout.
Data Integration: Dashboard Designer seamlessly integrates with Tagger's data sources, allowing users to access all of their performance data in one place. This means that they can easily create custom dashboards that provide a comprehensive view of their performance.
Sharing and Collaboration: Dashboard Designer allows users to share their custom dashboards with others on their team. This means that analysts can collaborate and share insights with managers, coaches, players, and other stakeholders.

Grid Layout

The Dashboard Designer uses a Grid Layout made up of rows and columns to organise the Dashboard components. Think of a row as a container for columns and think of a column as a container for components or other rows. A column can range in size from 1 to 12. A column of size 12 will span the entire width of a row.

Preview

The Dashboard Designer has a Preview option to allow users to Preview what the Dashboard would look like. We would recommend building Dashboards on an existing game for a better previewing experience.

Dashboard

When you have completed building your Dashboard it will be available in the Dashboards dropdown in the main Dashboard page - users who are viewing the Dashboards can quickly switch between Dashboards. There are no limits to how many Dashboards can be created.

Configuration

The Dashboard Designer is available as part of the Sport Configuration. When you share a game (which also contains it's configuration) then the Dashboards will also be shared.
