Introduction
Introduction to Livestream. Local network video and data sharing platform.
What is Livestream?
TeamOppy Livestream has two core functions:
- Capture a video feed from a connected camera and serve that video to devices on the local network
- Sync Tagger data across devices on the local network.
This facilitates multiple analysts tagging live video for a game enabling teams to capture more data & clips in real-time to feed back to the management team.

Local Network
To create a local network teams will need some additional equipment. Notably, a router to create a local network that you can connect your devices to. It is recommended (but not required) to connect using ethernet cables instead of wireless.
Devices
For Livestream Tagger devices we recommend using Windows/Mac devices where possible when using the live video. Mobile/Tablet devices have some limitations when it comes to playback of clips and there is also an increased lag time. The lag time for Windows/Macs is between 5 and 10 seconds but the lag time for mobile/tablet devices can be between 15 and 20 secs.
