Totals based Charts

How to configure totals based Bar, Stacked Bar, Radial and Pyramid charts

Introduction

Totals based charts are charts that are created using pre-configured totals. These are more powerful and flexible charts for visualising your data.

The videos below take you step by step through the process of creating these charts.

Bar Charts

Add one or more totals to the charts. Bar Charts can be viewed by overall totals or split by period.

Stacked Bar Charts

Configure series items which are common items across each column in the chart. Stacked Bar Charts can be viewed by overall totals or split by period.

Radial Bar Charts

Add one or more totals to the radial chart. These are ideal for representing percentage based totals.

Add one of more totals to the pyramid chart. These charts are ideal for showing progression of events. Use the arrow buttons to move the totals up/down in order to switch between a pyramid shape or a funnel shaped chart.

Putting it all together in the Dashboard Designer

Totals based Charts are not available in the Standard Dashboard. These can be added to custom dashboards however via the Dashboard Designer.
