Tagger

Connect to Livestream

Tagger Livestream Client

At this point you will have a Livestream session created with video connected and served over HLS.

Pre-requisites

Ensure that you have installed the security cert as documented in the installation section.

Local Network

Ensure that the device that you are using Tagger on is connected to the Local Network (direct cable connection is recommended but WiFi works well too).

Connect

In Tagger, from the main menu, go to the Game, Livestream option. In here enter the IP address of the Livestream app.

Note: The Livestream app displays the IP address on the main screen.

Then click on the Connect button.

You should now be connected to the Livestream session and data will be synced across connected devices.

Repeat for the other connected Tagger devices.

Video

A link to the Livestream HLS video will be displayed in the Tagger Livestream page. Copy this link.

Create a new game

It is recommended to clear any previous games on the Tagger connected devices.

When all the Tagger devices have been connected to the Livestream app you can now create a new game. It is recommended to designate one member of the analysis team to be the team leader. The team leader will be responsible for creating the new game.

  • Create a game as normal in Tagger, and add the video URL from above in the Video section (choose HLS as the video source).
  • The game will sync across to the other connected devices.
  • The team leader should also be responsible for starting the ending the Timer periods. Again when these are set, they will be synced to the other devices.
  • Once the game has started the analysts can tag the game as normal and data along with clips will be synced across devices.
