Preferences

Choose your workspace layout, set how the player and event buttons are displayed, and pick a theme.

Overview

Open Preferences from the left navigation menu. The page is organised into three tabs — Tagger View, Buttons and Appearance — with a Privacy & Consent card below them.

The Tagger View and Buttons options require you to be signed in. If you are not signed in, those options are disabled until you sign in.

Tagger View

The Tagger View tab selects the layout of the tagging workspace.

Standard

Classic view with both teams' player buttons either side of the screen and the event buttons in the centre. This layout can be used for video tagging as well as live tagging.

Video Analysis Mode

Optimised view with the video and events table on the left and the player and event buttons on the right.

Video Analysis Mode is only available on larger devices (laptop, desktop, and so on).

Live Manager Mode

A manager-centric view focused on your own team, with a team formation pitch graphic. Selecting it applies the recommended button settings for managing player game time.

Display Options

Additional options appear underneath the selected layout:

LayoutAdditional options
StandardFull / Tabs, Show Player Buttons
Video Analysis ModeVideo Player Size, Show Player Buttons
Live Manager ModeNone — the recommended settings are applied

Full shows both teams' event buttons; Tabs shows one team at a time. Show Player Buttons switches the player buttons on or off.

Tagging Behaviour

Auto Pause automatically pauses the video while you tag an event — for example while selecting players or positions — and resumes once the event is saved.

When using Tagger Rooms, it is recommended to disable Auto Pause to avoid excessive lag in the video.

Buttons

The Buttons tab sets how the player and event buttons appear. Each setting is offered as Name, Short Name or — for events — Icon.

  • Player Buttons — display the players' full name or short name.
  • Event Buttons — display the events' full name, short name or icon.

Each group also has a Size setting with the options Auto, XS, S, M, L and XL.

Auto uses the best size for the device, which is usually the right choice. Short names, icons and smaller buttons are all useful on phones and tablets.

Appearance

The Appearance tab selects the theme.

The theme applies to this device only.

The Privacy & Consent card allows you to update your consent preferences for analytics and tracking.
