Tag Windows

Focus your event buttons on the events you need, and swap the sides of the tagging screen.

Overview

Tag Windows allow you to create focused windows for tagging specific events. A tag window displays only the events you choose, so you can concentrate on a subset of your event buttons — for example your own team's events, or a particular phase of play.

Tag Windows are particularly useful for teams using Tagger Rooms for multi-user tagging and live sharing, because each analyst can work in the window that matches their job.

Switching Tag Windows

The panel icon at the top of the event buttons opens the Tag Windows dialog. It contains:

• Main — the default window, showing all enabled events.
• One button for each custom tag window set up in your configuration.

Select a window to switch the event buttons to it. If no custom tag windows have been configured yet, the dialog tells you where to create them.

Swapping Sides

The same dialog holds the Swap Sides button. Use it when you are viewing the match side-on — from the touchline or the stands, for example — so that the on-screen team ends match the direction of play.

The button label always shows the current arrangement:

• Swap Sides (Team A left) — Team A's buttons are on the left.
• Swap Sides (Team A right) — Team A's buttons are on the right.

Swapping sides changes the event and player button panels only. It does not flip or rotate the position maps — see Rotating a Position Map.

Configuring Tag Windows

Tag windows are created in the configuration, so they can be tailored to each sport and shared with your team.

1. Open Configuration.
2. Select Events.
3. Open the Tag Windows tab.

From there you can add, edit, copy and delete tag windows. Each tag window has the following settings:
